The PF Unofficial Types
Some of the pokémon in the GSC Pokémon Archive are members of a new type that was invented by Pikablack, a loyal PF fan, back in 2000: Magic. These pokémon wield forces rather different from the mental power of the Psychic-types, casting various spells to bring down their enemies.
In 2004, when upgrading to Factory Advance, the Staff discussed, debated, argued, and finally decided to add two more types to the Pokémon Factory's lineup, bringing the current total to twenty. The two new types are Light, a type that has been asked for repeatedly in all corners of Pokémon fandom, and Wind, which represents a split in the Flying type between the bird-style attacks, such as Peck and Wing Attack, and the wind-style attacks, such as
Gust and Aeroblast.

*Due to the creation of Wind as a separate type, the relation between Flying and Magic has been altered. The Magic-type's resistance to Flying attacks is replaced with a resistance to Wind attacks; Flying attacks deal standard damage to Magic-types where Wind-types exist.
Please be aware that a change to the Pokémon world as major as a new type is not something to take lightly. We usually do not accept further type ideas from visitors to the site.
